GUI to CLI

Postby Ikoth » 19 Feb 2020 14:17

Hi there,

is there a way to "export" the configuration of a GUI session to the corresponding CLI settings?

I have an RTSP to HTML stream conversion running successfully through the GUI, and I'd like to duplicate the settings at the CLI so I can automatically invoke the session after a reboot

Thanks,

I.

Any volunteer interested to contribute a new VLC module/plug-in for this new feature? I suggest adding this new module at https://addons.videolan.org/browse/

If needed, I would be happy to contribute testing and documentation

For developers, VLC stores its configuration in those files listed at https://www.videolan.org/support/faq.html#Config
