DLNA-UPnP not seen by VLC

Postby udippel » 12 Aug 2023 15:04

I did an extensive search here, but found no solution. I have the server running, and can access the data with BubbleUPnP on my Android devices. No luck, though, with VLC 3.0.16-1build7 (ubuntu 22.04).
What is strange is that in View->Playlist->Universal PnP it shows nothing; but exclusively this field also doesn't seem to react to my user input. So when I click Zeroconf Network Services, these show up in the right field. Clicking Universal PnP, nothing happens. 'Nothing' means, that it doesn't seem to do anything at all, still showing the result of the previously issued command ("Zeroconf Network Services"). Of course, I tried clicking as well as Enter on the keyboard.
