VLC restricted on mx-linux 21-3

When I go to the site https://www.pexels.com/video/human-feed ... el-855289/ to test VLC it initially played the simple HTTPS video but it no longer plays this video.

Is VLC able to play any HTTPS stream site? I cannot play any Youtube vides through VLC 3.0.18.

I have also noticed removing the VLC supportative pacages such as phonon4qt5-backend-vlc

For VLC 3.0.18, this is a a known issue, but it works fine for me with the external VLC YTDL plugin (on Debian, not MX, though).
