Infinite Loading - Chromecast

Im trying to cast from VLC 3.0.9.2 (running on Mint 20.3) to Chromecast (using "render" option), but getting only "infinite loading screen".
When using different computer (with windows 10) or android phone - it works just fine.
I tried to disable the firewall, but it didn't help.

What else I can try?

Note that VLC 3.0.9.2 is out of date. Also your Linux VLC is presumably using Avahi whereas Windows VLC will be using MicroDNS, so that could be the source of the issue.

Though the most likely cause is network stack misconfiguration (including but not limited to the firewall not being fully disabled).

I updated VLC to 3.0.16
Now I see the casting logo when trying to cast. In the VLC log I can see:

stream_out_chromecast error: Media load failed
stream_out_chromecast debug: Player state: IDLE sessionId: 6
stream_out_chromecast warning: Unexpected RECEIVER_STATUS with state LoadFailed. Checking media status

How I can progress with this?

I didnt find how to install 3.0.17 I tried with 3.0.18 with no success for now.
It seems that VLC starts to play the video but stop imminently
