Can't open RTSP stream for camera

Hi,

Ubuntu 21.10

I'm getting some trouble to play RTSP streaming from a TP-Link C310 Tapo camera. Here the messages with verobsity = 2: https://pastebin.com/vttQra6r
(I have Windows in the same PC, can't open the stream either, and the result is different: https://pastebin.com/ZT31mhWJ)

Any suggestions?

That's weird... When trying to play the steaming VLC ask for username and password. If the password isn't correct then VLC ask for it again. Only when the password is correct the error message window is opened telling me that VLC can't open the streaming.

the RTSP server likely depends on the "user agent" string to match whatever device is permitted to connect to it.

"RTSP Server"... "User Agent"... I just followed the instuctions posted here: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2680/ and I'm pretty sure that the password is correct.

Did you find a solution? I am having a similar issue, i can view the stream via ispy agent, but VLC cannot play the stream.
