A/52 and DCA codec options missing in flatpak

Postby The Bright Side » 18 Apr 2020 11:23

Hello, VLC team! In Preferences > All > Input/Codecs > Audio Codecs, the A/52 and DCA options are missing in the flatpak version. How can I get them back? I'd like to disable dynamic range compression.

VideoLAN does not currently endorse Flatpak. We have a Snap package which should include A/52 and DCA libraries.

Complain to the packagers.
