How do you play a MIDI?

Postby ToddAndMargo » 02 Jun 2019 13:46

Hi All,

Fedora 30
vlc-3.0.7-0.1.fc30.x86_64

How do you play a MIDI? Specifically, this one:

Many thanks,

Thank you!

How do I do this in Fedora?

Code: Select all

# dnf --enablerepo=* whatprovides vlc-plugin-fluidsynth ... Error: No Matches found
Also, from the link "If the FluidSynth codec is not shown in VLC's preferences", where exactly in preferenes is this?

Many thanks,
-T

Figured it out:

Code: Select all

# dnf install fluid-soundfont-gm fluid-soundfont-gs
