run vlc error

vlc: error while loading shared libraries: libdvbpsi.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

But i had intall the library libdvbpsi in my RedHat System.
I Can find it in the dir : /usr/local/lib

what should i do ? Help.please!

did you run ldconfig after installing ?
is /usr/local/lib exist in /etc/ld.so.conf ?
