Convert Rotated won't allow width smaller than heigth

Postby rmvb » 10 Dec 2017 22:46

The ~best~ output I can get is a square W=H frame size, genuine video W/H ratio not being transposed to H/W
Setting W>H I get repeated stack of the same ugly/funny nuns frames.
Setting W<H I get the same nuns on the right with a left glitchy/blinking/psychedelic column.

I'm not sure this was already reported for video caught by an android where the owner forgot to enable back the auto-rotate feature that teaches the camera where the ground is.

I'm running ubuntu 14.04 with libavcodec-extra-54 VLC216
Same on a win32 with latest VLC available to this day.

Yes, this is a VLC limitation.
