Screenshots zero sized

Hello

i used to play my DVD (original ones, no burned ones) with VLC under Linux (Fedora Core 4) and sometimes, i take some screenshots with it to illustrate my blog.

But today is a little bit problematic : all screenshots i take are "null" : 0bit. It's on the movie Steamboy. Last time it worked very well with Meet joe black.

And even if i have keyboard shortcuts designed to capture screen with a ALT SHIFT S combo, it does not work everytime. Idem with the SPACE bar i use to Play/Pause the movie. I press it pauses. I press again it does nothing.

I use the 0.8.2 Janus version. And i did no upgrade since last time i watched Joe black.

I'll try but i have a little doubt : as i have the same problem with another DVD Player on Windows (PowerDVD 4), i'm pretty sure there is a DRM issue or something that locks screen captures.

as long as VLC is able to play the video, it should be able to take a screen shot.
