subtitle position vs totem

Postby shadowspawn » 28 Jul 2005 12:19

i like in totem how it positions the subtitles, in widescreen it's always in the "black"/null border around the movie, i'm trying to do the same with vlc on debian.

i've tried changing the Y position in all the text renderer settings, is there somewhere else that can be used like (max -y) or (max screen rez /2 *-1) + whatever?

nothing seems to work with pushing subtitles beyond the movie viewable frame.

i know, vlc isn't totem, but it's vlc's slick for movies while streaming, trying to figure this out.

VLC is unable to do that (that == putting the subs in the black border outside the video) ... but its in the request list :)
