Interface issue

I have installed Lubuntu on my HTPC and try to set up remote connection from phone to vlc by HTTP but now I can't even open VLC nor reinstall it

run vlc -Iqt4 from command line.

You have some local security protection that blocks the VLC HTTP server. Fix your configuration, this is not a VLC issue.
