Screen flashes black before video play back

Hi everyone

I have some problem using VLC plauer on SUSE Linux and RedHat:

When I launch a video using VLC media player, the screen flashes and becomes black for half a second before starting video.

Maybe is some flow to fix this problem ???

Make sure the XVideo extension works correctly on your system.
