VLC closes

My VLC 1.1.11 on Linux Opensuse 11.3 always worked very well. But recently I downloaded some MP3 from
http://baikinange.blogspot.com/2009/08/ ... mself.html
specifically from http://www.mediafire.com/?jdzexcamjeg

and, listening to these songs, when I press >> to go to the next song, then VLC closes.

With other songs VLC still works fine. Other music players can plays these songs fine. So the problem happens only
with VLC with these special songs.

Any idea?

I can't reproduce this issue on Windows.

Problem solved. I found out that some MP3 files can be broken and there are programs to correct them. Unfortunatly those programs are not so good. So I used ffmpeg to convert the MP3 files into OGG files. Somehow, from broken MP3 files I've got good OGG files which now work fine on VLC. I guess (but did not bother to check) that if I convert back the OGG into MP3 I would get good MP3 files.
