VLC won't play .wmv files in UBUNTU 11.04

Hi,

I've read on the VideoLan website that VLC player supports .wmv files but I keep getting error from VLC:

No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "MSS2". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this.

Could someone please be kind enough and tell me how to view .wmv files?

.wmv videos are playing now in vlc
