Hello,
My application shortcut is:
And the "zoom" argument doesn't seem to work. The funny thing is that when I right-click the video and go to "Video » Zoom", menu entry "1:2 Half" is already selected. But if I click it, the video is reduced by half
Isn't that odd?

I have the same problem on VLC 1.1.6

I found out why. You have to set autoscale off first: --no-autoscale. By default it is on.
