VLC not playing DVDs in UBUNTU

Hi all
I am having trouble with playing DVDs in Linux , I cant get them to run
I used the open disk and also tried to different entry chapters, no luck
the screen just blinks and go back to standby mode:

So i ran VLC from command line to see if it gave any clue
It gave the following output , unfortunately i dont understand teh core problem reading it
Please help, my friends are here and its boring without a few DVDs right

Sounds like you need to install libdvdcss.
