problem vlc and rtsp

Postby jjreina » 21 Jun 2010 11:22

Hi all, I am working with vlc 1.0.6 and ubuntu 10.04, when I try to use the rtsp protocol for pictures in real time from a cam, all it's ok, but after 2 min the picture is frozen and i have to reboot vlc.

I use cached = 120 ms and no delay.

any suggestions?

Thanks

P.D. when I start vlc from command show the following message:

illegal memory management control operation 32
left block unavailable for requested intra mode at 0 0
error while decoding MB 0 0
illegal memory management control operation 32
left block unavailable for requested intra mode at 0 0
error while decoding MB 0 0
illegal short term buffer state detected

P.D: just check the error console of the following erro:

[0xb73019b8] avcodec decoder error: more than 5 seconds of late video -> dropping frame (computer too slow ?)
number of reference frames exceeds max (probably corrupt input), discarding one
number of reference frames exceeds max (probably corrupt input), discarding one...

Are they related errors?

thanks you very much
