VLC and VDPAU

Postby graysky » 18 Jun 2010 01:15

I've seen a few older threads about this, but nothing relating to the current release. How can one enable VDPAU with HD h264 or mpeg files? Is VDPAU implied under the "Accelerated video output (Overlay)" option? I didn't see a VDPAU option in the "Output" pulldown. Does one need to compile VDPAU into VLC or is it included by default? Running 1.0.6 here.

Using Arch Linux here; I see there is a dev version in the AUR here. Currently it builds1.1.0rc3. Thanks for the info!
