I am trying to stream video+audio from my dv-camera but when I try the command

vlc -vvv dv/rawdv:///dev/raw1394. The device is present under /dev and Kino is getting a picture.main input error: open of `dv/rawdv:///dev/raw1394' failed: no access module matched "dv"
Where can I download a VLC version with the mentioned module? I am currently running Ubuntu 9.10 - Karmic Koala and using VLC 1.0.2 Goldeneye.
