gnome-screenscaver fade screen on active playback

when you watching movide via vlc gnome-screenscaver shows fade screen repeatedly.

i did check some source code and found this:

xcommon.c vlc source file has only x11 screensaver code (DisableXScreenSaver function):
modules/video_output/x11/xcommon.c

totem (gnome player) has booth x11 and dbus code (screensaver_inhibit_dbus, screensaver_disable_x11 functions).

so where is the bug? gnome or vlc?
