v0.9.9 download location and instructions

Noob here.

I loaded Ubuntu 9.10 on an older single core box. I've found that v1.0 vlc plays h.264 pretty choppy. Any other encoding seems to work fine. I saw a post previously that suggested down revving to v0.9.9 however I've yet to find how to do so. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Better desactivate loop filter in the ffmpeg or avcodec preferences of VLC
