I have a problem simply to open a video using:
- VLC 1.0.0-rc4
- Fedora Core 11 kernel 2.6.29.5-191.fc11.x86_64
- File system Linux LVM and ext4
I installed the following packages:
vlc-1.0.0-0.12rc4.fc11.x86_64
vlc-devel-1.0.0-0.12rc4.fc11.x86_64
vlc-core-1.0.0-0.12rc4.fc11.x86_64
mozilla-vlc-1.0.0-0.12rc4.fc11.x86_64
VLC starts, opens the file, identifies the video format but nothing happen: VLC reaches EOF and stops.

I have the same problem also using other video formats like AVI or MPEG or MP4.
I'm able to open the same files using totem or Gnome MPlayer or SMPlayer or Avidemux.
