webradio recording with ID-Tag

Hi,
can VLC record from Webradio (shoutcast) with ID-Tag (Artist-Name of the Song)?

atm vlc doesn't pass meta-info from input to output-muxer, so you can't get artist name or songname

can someone make a requeset. i thing that is a good idea for further releases.

For your information, dedicated programs exists for this which could split the stream into track files, set id3 tags, sort/name them in folders, cope with ads, etc with a fine tune.
Program name was streamripper (with optionally streamtuner)

ok i am using streamtuner. i thought that vlc can it too.

whitch programm kann i use on vista to record songs with id-tags. the programm has to be compatible with vlc. streamripper works only with winamp
