How do I display what is playing?

Postby ToddAndMargo » 09 Apr 2009 08:56

Hi All,

I am currently listing to http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-sta ... ?id=975653 with VLC 0.9.9 on CentOS 5.3 (RHEL 5.3 clone). Back when SMplayer use to work under CentOS 5.2, it would show the titles of what was playing in the upper bar. As of CentOS 5.3, SMplayer is broken (again). So I switched to VLC. Is there a way to get VLC to show me what is playing?

Many thanks,
-T

VLC 1.0.0 should do it correctly (bug in 0.9x versions)

Any work around while we wait for 1.0.0 to be released?

And, is there a projected date for 1.0.0 to be released?

Many thanks,
