Hi guys , I'm trying to grab my Linux Ubuntu Screen with vlc and record/transcode this video.
It's possible to do this?I searched in the documentation and in the forum without any result,
I'm using xorg 1.4 and Gnome.

You can, but VLC is not the best tool for this.
