STREAMING RAW VIDEO

Postby aziatedu13 » 18 Jun 2008 14:51

Hello,

I am using ffmpeg to stream a video card, on real time.
I can choose the codec , but I 'v do some test With VLC like player.

ffmpeg send on the local net a video card grabed video, and VLC, on another computer on the local area, play it.
But, VLC don't play all the encoded stream.
VLC play MPEG1/2/4, but no rawvideo, and huffuv, nor MJPEG,nor BMP video....
The lossless video codec send by ffmpeg are not compatible with VLC.
OR, IS vlc able to play RAW stream, raw being RAW DATA,or LOSSLESS compressed DATA ?????????
THX.
