Video overlay controls like with mac os x possible?

When I go full screen with the MAC version of VLC I get these really cool video overlay controls that I DO NOT get with the linux version. Is it possible to enable these in the linux version?

VLC God doesn't exists yet.

VLC very important legens (sam, gibalou, fenrir and other :D ) don't really come to that forum :)
