Can't display vobsub on fullscreen

Postby lamnk » 15 Sep 2007 18:39

Hi, I'm using VLC on Ubuntu feisty. When I open a movie with vobsub (idx/sub) subtitles, there is subtitles in window mode, but when i go fullscreen, the subtitles disappear. Subrip subtitles display fine in both window / fullscreen mode.

Any suggestion ?

I'm having the same problem as well... I'm not sure what this problem could be... OpenSuSe & Ubuntu have the same problem... I can't seem to play .sub files, b/c I think that the subs sit in one certain area, but as the screen expands it expands with the screen and gets too big for the window or too small... try it and you will see for your self... it works well with .srt files and there isn't a problem, but .sub files have it the worst... I'm not sure whether there is a fix for this already or what.... thanks a lot.....
