dvbt and h264

Postby virtualas » 23 Jul 2007 22:53

Hello,
In my country all dvb-t channels are encoded h264 codec. And when I try to strem them to my home network from linux server with Hauppauge dvb_usb_dib0700 dual dvb-t card my server's load goes to 300% and then no stream goes but even if stream goes to network on my client computer (windows) video crahses or is shown like with hurry up mode. Why it is so? I tired to transcode it to standard mpeg4 codec with client computer but with no success. Maybe I have to use some specific options when compiling h264 for vlc? Or I have to try to transcode it on server?

Thanks to all involved.
