vlc plays some files perfectly but it only plays the amount corresponding to the File "caching Value" then stops. I set the caching value to a high number. now it plays that amount (1 or 2 secs) then pauses and spits out this error
[0xafb087ec] avcodec decoder error: more than 5 seconds of late video -> dropping frame (computer too slow ?)
The higher the caching value, the longer it plays (and delays the error).
I have ffmpeg from 0.7 branch
ffplay doesn't show this error neither does mplayer2. both play the files with no problem.
any suggestions for troubleshooting this?
