Audio files sometimes playback with clipped start

Postby RoyalScam » 07 Mar 2012 19:07

This doesn't happen with every file, but there are plenty of them that I do have, FLAC and mp3, that tend to clip off the very beginning of a track on playback. If I play the same track in QuickTime or iTunes, no cut off.

This occurs if you double click it in the playlist, or if it just plays in the middle of a playlist.

Is there a setting I should be looking at?

I'm currently running v1.1.12 on Mac OS 10.6.8

Surely I can't be the only one with this issue...

Edit: OK, I see this has been a pervasive issue that has been on a wish list of fixes since virtually the beginning of time. How can this not have been addressed in bug update after bug update? In an audio player that has an issue with audio playback???

This issue is resolved in VLC 2.0.0 as far as I know. Give it a try!
