updated to version 2.0 and when I play a video i get a playlist on the left side of the window that is annoying me since I can not see the image as I liked more in the previous version as they appear in screen shots can you turn?

Have you tried clicking the "Show/Hide Playlist" button (on the right side of the stop button)? That's odd you get the playlist on the left side, but if that doesn't work, I'd suggest deleting VLC preferences.

I tried to do what you say since before the post and goes to the main screen wil the playlist but it appears to the left column to turn it off because I did not take up room for reproduction enclosed a snapshot because it is a function that has spoiled the program

I've been looking for a way to disable the left column too with no avail... :-(

Tried moving the separation to the left, but didn't work.
Cleaned the preferences and Media Library is disabled.

Anyone?

Snow Leopard 64bits VLC 2.0 here.

2.0.1 (in 10 days) will provide it.
