Export video rotated

Postby nielsk » 18 Feb 2012 21:02

I shot today some videos with my iPhone. When I encoded some of the videos with Handbrake I noticed that I have to flip them by 180° because they are upside down. I googled around but cannot find how I would do that with VLC (but I'm pretty sure it can do that).

Therefore my question: I have a MOV which I want to rotate by 180° and save the result. How do I do this?

You can rotate video by using Window > Video Filters > Geometry tab > Transform.

I'm not sure about exporting (I've never used that feature) but I assume you can export using File > Exporting/Streaming Wizard.

That's what I already tried but it didn't work for me.
