I am trying to start vlc using "/Applications/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS/VLC", having logged on as the user with limited privileges. It does not work giving the error "permission denied".
I gave that user full priviliges and still it does not work.
Where else should I change privileges?

Could you try to start the app using the Terminal (with "-vvvv" as argument) and post the output here?

I can not start anything (nothing is printed out) if the user has the limited priviliges.
