Hello.
I can't remember if and when the rewind function worked anyway. Do i have a bug on my system or is this a bug in VLC Player for a long time? If so, am i the only one who's wondering?

VLC Version 1.1.12 (Intel, 64bit)
Tested with Mac OS 10.5 (PPC) + Mac OS 10.6.8

The rewind function seems to work for some codecs. But in my case it doesn't work on MPEG2TransportStreams (.ts).

this is not rewind, but slower.

This is Rewind!
Dont believe me? Then hover your mouse over that button. A info-overlay will appear und tell you it is the "Rewind" button!

I've tried several shortcuts for rewinding MPEG2TransportStreams (.ts) but it goes everytime in the other direction (fast forward).

TS can't be seeked in.

Some other Soft- and Hardware player do very well. Even VLC can fast forward .ts files. Just the rewind button isn't working properly. In fact it does something, but in the wrong direction. It fast forwards the video.

.ts navigation

they can if there's a .tsnavi sidecar file, which apple's virtualDVHS tries to generate (but fails on most recordings)-: but even w/o the .tsnavi, vlc can jump by +/-% very well. i've added it to the web interface (since the normal onscreen controls don't work)-:

TS can't be seeked in with vlc
1.2 version should fix ts seeking.
