Unable to change the size of subtitles

I've tried to change it in
Preferences - subtitles & OSD - Font size
Not work

select - all instead of basic video subtitles osd - text render - relative font size
not work ether...

:( :( :( :(

subtitle is in SRT format

Same here... tested everything. I can change the OSD rendering, but not the subtitles - in some video-types.

As much as I understand these affects videos with plenty of subtitle languages (chinese, russian, ...) and therefore includes information about how to render the subtitle in the file... no way to bypass this settings?

... googled deeper and understand now, that some subs are encrypted or let's say only image-saved. So you have to use a sub-ripper like SubRip to create subs VLC can handle... there's no way around this since you will have to help the ripper with his OCR ...

my sub are not image. it's plain srt files. it's text. :(

Some settings take place after Stop/Play, some after program restart.

With srt everything works on my side...
