Delete VLC Files from IPAD w/o VLC

Hi,
I had installed VLC on the IPad 1 from another Apple Store login.
I also copied some videos on it under my own login.

Then I bought the IPad 2.
The Videos were loaded on the IPad but not the VLC App.
Now the VLC App is no longer available in the Appstore.

Finally I have loaded a lot of videos on the IPad and cannot delete them w/o VLC.
Is there any other chance to do that?

Thanks.
Joachim

How do you know the files are on the iPad?

Have you found a solution to get your video files off w/o VLC? I also have a similar issue where VLC was removed by iTunes *grumble....grrr* and I think my video files are still there not being able to be deleted. I would appreciate hearing a solution if you found one :)

Files related to an app are automatically deleted from your iOS device if you remove the app (either through Springboard or iTunes). So, all the movies are gone.

I don't think all my movies are deleted together with the VCL-app. I still have 9,8 GB of undefined files on my iPad.. What to do?

Reset it using iTunes. This is probably a bug in the OS, since VLC's sandbox is to be deleted along with the app.

I had a similar problem and in the end the only solution even drastic was to reconfigure my ipad. In hindsight probably wasn't the best solution
