Problems with .mkv subtitles!

Nothing happened. And i cant make bigger. Only thing that work is the color of subtitle, from the Video - Subtitle/OSD - Text render for MAC. If i make small or larger, the size of subtitle is the same, nothing changes.

From Video - Subtitle/OSD - Text render nothing works for mkv file. I only use VLC for mkv.

If i use freetype2 from subtitle/OSD Text rendering module my file is block and i have to restart vlc.

I think it is a bug. I use VLC 1.1.7 on MBP 2.2 GHZ, 2GB later 2008 with Snow Leoprad 10.6.6

I don`t have any other codecs, any any other player than quick time from Snow Leopard and DVD player.

Any idea???
