VLC 1.1.0 — Preferences, can’t turn off Volume Normalizer

If I turn on Volume Normalizer in simple VLC 1.1.0 Preferences, I can’t turn it off. I don’t want to check, but in earlier version a new value of normalizer wasn’t saved too.

Developers, do you at least read this forum?

We do, but more often, we read trac.videolan.org/vlc, which is better suited for concrete bug reports. Additionally, the other OS X dev and me get a mail, if a new OS X problem is posted.

The devs read this forum, but you have to remember that they often have their university studies or main salaried jobs taking priorities (they don't get paid for VLC), so sometimes the responses can be slow to come. Please take this into account when posting here, and be patient, but you will get an answer eventually :)

BTW could you open a ticket in Trac for this issue? - thanks
