Same here!
Also i get no answers on some of my filed bugs... Seems i gotta go back to v1.0.5, too, and stay there forever.

This version is SOOO BORKED!
I mean common... there where sooo many RCs and sooo much time till v1.1.0 was released, and it's sooo buggy.

J-B was asking to open a ticket in the bug tracking database: http://trac.videolan.org/vlc/

This is used by the developers to know of bugs that need to be addressed.

Remember all the developers are volunteers. The bugs will be addressed when a developer gets time - they do the best job they can given the time and resources available. VLC is a complex piece of software and sometimes software development be akin to a game of whack-o-mole.

Edit: corrected name of person being quoted.
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.

And HOW many bugs did you report during the 5 tests versions and the 4 RC versions?

And so, everyone did like you... And the bugs are still not reported.

If you mean not reported to the trac, it may very well be that it is very confusing for a non developer, just resulting in a BIG ??? for a normal user.

Not even reporting to the forum, the IRC, the bugtracker, the mailing-lists?
