Audio disappears?

Postby TeeSee » 26 Feb 2010 20:16

I use VLC on Mac OSX Snow Leopard, however I have a problem. I usually scroll back by either clicking on the time bar(?) Or using the scroll left/right on my mouse. However, 1 out of 5 times when I do this the audio disappears. I have checked and my headset is correctly set on my Mac, the volume is on full, so is it on VLC... Yet no audio. The only way I can get it back is by re-opening what I was watching and scrolling to wherever I was. It's not funny, so I'm hoping I can find a solution here.

EDIT: I play Matroska files, I do not know if this happens with other video files.

Thanks
BF

Did you ever get a solution to this problem? I've got the same problem.

Cheers,
Keith

Have you tried with VLC 1.1.0-rc. Also, what model Mac?
Providing logs, messages, configuration info (VLC, OS, Hardware) and a clear explanation of the issue always helps the problem solvers help you, even if they don't end up solving the issue. Just think what you would need if you were solving someone else's problem. Additional: Always looking for eager and capable MacOS X developers to join the VLC team - for more information see here.
