Problem with subtitles in a .divx file

Hello. I have a .divx file with subtitles, but those won't show and I obtain a message saying that VLC cannot interpret "DXSB" format. On the other hand, it works perfectly with DivX Player :s Can someone tell me if this problem will be solved in a future release? Thanks in advance. (Note: it's the first time I have a problem with VLC, so I don't complain too much )
