Bug: bookmarks don't stick

1. I open a network stream.
2. I open the Bookmarks window.
3. I click Add. The bookmark shows up as an item in the window.
While the network stream is playing, I can open and close the Bookmarks window and the bookmark shows in the Bookmarks list.
4. I close the network stream.
5. I open the Bookmarks window. There are no Bookmarks listed in the window.

This is repeatable.

The bookmarks should remain in the Bookmarks list after the network stream is terminated, yes?

I agree wholeheartedly. Even better, the last playback time position in the file should be retained so you can resume where you left off. Mac app MPlayerX has this feature.

Remembering the last playback position will be part of the forthcoming 2.2 release.

No. Bookmarks are only per item in the media library. If there is no item playing, the bookmark list should be empty as well (as its not known which bookmarks shall be shown).

Wow, bookmarks are STILL broken in Rincewind !?

While playing a DVD, I set a bookmark at 01:24:00. The Bookmarks UI doesn't let me edit the name of the bookmark, so I click Edit. When I give the bookmark a name and click OK, the time morphs to 00:13:17. No matter what I try, the time stamp is hosed.

When I found that bookmarks were still broken, I instantly DID NOT CARE AT ALL about any of the other new features in VLC.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE FIX THIS.
