After compile, vlc hangs after playing video

Hi,

I just downloaded the latest source with git and compiled the source on my Intel Mac OS X 10.5.5 machine. I can load a TS-stream and playing it in the VLC.app. But if I stop the stream or close the window, it hangs and I cannot select any other video file. But if I load other video files, it works until I try to close the app. Then the app hangs too. Is there any known bug?

I am trying to use the VLCKit in my application, but this bug appears there too, which seems to be a bug then in the libvlc. Any idea?

Another thing: How can u request the current revision number of a repository with git?

Some more information:

I compiled the debug version and the release version. This happens to both with the version number 0.9.0-1725-gf1d4df6.

The App hangs too, when you just open the app and close it. It seems to be an additional bug.
