sout not working + can't find cvlc

Postby mathieubill » 09 Oct 2008 21:35

Hello all,

With a previous version (I think it was 0.9.2), I was able to stream out a radio with the following playlist:

Code: Select all

#EXTM3U #EXTINF:0,10012 - Rire et Chansons #EXTVLCOPT:ts-es-id-pid #EXTVLCOPT:no-video #EXTVLCOPT:audio-track-id=1002 #EXTVLCOPT:sout=#standard{access=http,mux=raw,url=,sap,name="myradio"} #EXTVLCOPT:ttl=1 rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=100011
Now, when I open this playlist, it plays directly in VLC and does not stream out any more.

I tried to stream out with the command line, but I have the following output:

Code: Select all

<21:13>mymac:/ApplicationsX/Multimedia/VLC.app/Contents/MacOS[522]>./VLC 'rtsp://mafreebox.freebox.fr/fbxtv_pub/stream?namespace=1&service=100011' --sout='#standard{access=http,mux=raw,url=,sap,name="Rire et Chansons"}' [00000001] main libvlc debug: VLC media player - version 0.9.4 Grishenko - (c) 1996-2008 the VideoLAN team [00000001] main libvlc debug: libvlc was configured with ./configure '--enable-release' '--with-macosx-sdk=/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.4u.sdk' '--enable-update-check' [00000001] main libvlc debug: translation test: code is "C" [00000001] main libvlc: Running vlc with the default interface. Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface. [00000697] main access out: creating httpd [00000700] mux_dummy mux: Open Bus error
Is there a way to stream out locally with http?

The output says: Use 'cvlc' to use vlc without interface. Do you know where is the cvlc command line tool?

Thanks for the help.
