Missing Media Information

Hi,
When I open a movie (all formats) I can't show the media information.
The "codec details" box is clear. No data inside.
This problem is in VLC player 0.92 and 0.93 here.
I use MacOS X 10.5.5 here.
What's the problem?

You have selected the "Playlist"-entry in the Playlist. (Media information works for the selection in the playlist, not for the currently playing item).

The missing media information for the currently playing item is a bug, see this thread:
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=50553
Can someone with access to the bug tracker please log a bug so we can have this fixed in an upcoming version?

Hm, this works. But in older versions (0.8x) can I recall the media informations for the current playing movie without selection in playlist.

Yes. this changed. (we will try to make it more intuitive in the future, but it's a tad hard to find the right balance with such things.)

I was reading this post, because I didn't see any video codec information for a flv-file in media information / codec details.
But obviously these are only shown when the video is running, not in paused movie, nothing to do with this old bug here in this post.
