I thought it was Apple (Command) i

but it doesnt bring it up

I have a feeling vlc is dropping frames with 720p files but in order to troubleshoot i need to see it that way as 1 frame dropped is hard to tell if its a encoding issue or network/hdd issue.

thanks in advance

What more info needs to be given, really? It seems clear enough to me: a broken build of some kind, maybe a nightly? It's not like it's caused by a syntactically wrong --sout chain or something like that. Could be libs missing from accidental deletion. Try a complete removal, download latest stable build, delete preferances (manually or by enclosed script), then install again.

Yeh I have 3.0.17.4 64 bit stable build and there is no Statistics tab anymore!. And the bitrates reported are usually wrong even though it says above it "information about what your media or stream is made of"
This product is slowly going to pot. A real shame.
PS.. I give message and info,

The statistics tab is still there for me with VLC for Mac. The data displayed seems to be accurate, also. Note sure where your problem is. Can you explain a bit more in detail, please?
