What version to play .ts 1080p / 1080i files ?

Postby adisor19 » 21 Mar 2007 23:01

I've tried the official .86a and i'm having problems playing .ts files. I've also tried other beta .9 versions with mixed results where SOME .ts files would play just fine and others would not.. Is there a version that's known to play .ts files ok ?

Thanks for any info,

Adi

Alittle update :

It would appear as though the reason that it doesn't play all .ts files is that some .ts files have multiple programs in them and VLC does NOT select the proper program on play. I have to manually select program 1(which contains data) instead of the default program 0 (which does not). It would be great if such autodetection could be built into VLC... The same thing can be said about the sound playback.. as some .ts files have empty sound streams mixed together with good sound streams..
