VLC support for subtitles is bad. You can't read those correctly with VLC. just hope it will be better in next version.

OPen the SRT file in text edit

Find" <font color="#ffffff">

Replace ALL with nothing

SAVE FILE

Replace this new SRT file with the old one

Crazy, I'm looking back at a post from 2007, 16 years ago. Back in this time I was 15 years old playing RuneScape and enjoying high school. Now I'm 31 years old, at my Marketing job trying to figure out how to get useless text out of my captions for my companies video and lo and behold the answer is still relevant. Thanks gord3, even though you're probably long gone from this website.
